This petition is to save the sound program at Sva. What is your film without sound and having the knowledge to make your own sound? SVA does not educate their students enough about the opportunities that are available at the school. This has resulted in students having a lack of knowledge about the sound program and what's available to them. Because of this, not enough students have signed up for sound courses and SVA just wants to take it out of the curriculum. SVA is meant to prepare us for what life is like in the industry but taking sound out of the equation is far from industry standard.
