The small playground at the sand park in our Castle Gardens pool Association is perfect for the little kids. It is not just a playground; it is where friendships bloom and imaginations run free. Now, our Association President wants to take it down, arguing that it has splinters but it just needs some fixing up!

 Now, it seems this treasure for our little kids faces the threat of demolition, all for the sake of convenience.

Rebuilding it from scratch is financially impractical and unnecessary when a little maintenance could restore its charm. The cost of taking it down could be better allocated to refurbish this playground, ensuring it meets safety standards while preserving its familiar shape. This way, we continue bringing smiles to our children's faces in our cherished neighborhood.

Removing this playground would mean the little ones in our community would be left with nowhere to play safely. Meanwhile, the focus would shift to yard games intended for the bigger kids, further sidelining our youngest members. Our children’s needs should be at the forefront of our community planning.
