It is clear from the action of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board that they are trying to make the Lighthouse Dermatology Services redundant, and will consequently move them to Portsmouth.The Lighthouse Clinic on the Island, provides nearly all the outpatient, diagnoses, biopsies, and treatments for the IOW .Many of these patients will have skin cancer, some of which carry a high mortality, if not diagnosed and treated within the prescribed period.

St Mary's hospital, the only hospital on the island is already under immense pressure. To lose the Lighthouse will be a disaster for the Island.

With the problems already getting to mainland appointments increasing because of lack of ferries and the high prices we need to act now to Save these services at The Lighthouse Clinic, before it is too late.
