After 268 years, approximately 25 million pints served and countless happy memories, the Punchbowl in West Hallam, Derbyshire closed its doors in September 2022.

This petition has been created as a way for local people to register their interest and support for getting the pub reopened, and reinstating the heart of our community.

We need to show the owners, Star Pubs & Bars, that the pub is an invaluable part of our community and could once again be a viable and profitable business for them.

The community not only benefits from the spirit that a local watering hole encourages, but it’s also good for property prices and provides a place for local community groups to meet.

Villages across the UK are increasingly falling victim to the loss of their vital community hub - let’s not let this be another.
