We will be sharing the list of petition signers, so far, which continues to grow and currently exceeds 1,200 online and on paper. And the survey, which is still available for you to take in two minutes, will provide a starting point for leaders to know what constituents and other stakeholders most want to see happen with the buildings. Thank you for supporting this worthy cause. The support will still be needed after tonight, no matter how the BOS votes. The only way that will change is if the school board reaches a decision to turn the property over to the county or to give it a future that's better than demolition while still under school ownership. Let us all hope for the best for Pocahontas, for the people of Powhatan and for the wider community.
