We need your help to save the Oregon 4-H Center!

The 4-H Center has a 50+ year tradition of providing 4-H Camps to Willamette Valley campers and high school youth who serve as counseling staff.  These older youth gain valuable life experiences and these experiences are foundational to their growth into contributing Oregon citizens.

There are no other sites that can be used by 4-H in the Willamette Valley to continue this important contribution to our youth through the camp delivery mode.  Any decision made about the 4-H Center should not be made solely on potential financial gain for the 4-H Foundation.  The current process is rushed in response to OSU’s decision not to accept ownership.

Alternatives that will continue the 4-H camp traditions including a lease to a 4-H sympathetic organization, partnership purchase among interested youth agencies and “lease to buy” options should be given carefully consideration. After a 50 year investment the 4-H Foundation owes this much to the history and legacy of this property.
