The iconic Okemah Water Towers are slated to be torn down. We need a better solution than what has been provided by the Okemah Utilities Authority. These Hot and Cold Water Towers are literally recognized worldwide as many have travelled from abroad to visit Okemah, the Home of Woody Guthrie. They have even been on the cover of the well known periodical Reader's Digest. Now as if there is no other solution the twins will be dismantled and disappear from the Okemah and I-40 skyline forever. Help us find another solution. Let the Utility Authority know we want the towers to stay.
