ATTENTION Nature Lovers: The Outdoor Adventure Center is home to rock climbers, backpackers, kayakers, and anyone looking to get outdoors. Recently, members of professional staff leading the OAC have left. Thus due to unforeseen staffing shortages and gaps in leadership, the sports officials are shutting down the OAC including the 2023-2024 trips program and clinics that help make it a community for many. The facility was closed with abrupt notice to climbers, staff, and outdoor adventure lovers and there is no information on reopening known at this time. Why this matters- Outdoor Adventure Center has provided a safe, accepting, and loving place to anyone who walks in the doors and provided once in a lifetime opportunities to anyone who sought them! Please help us show rec sports how many people they are impacting by signing this petition and telling your story of how the OAC, the staff, and the community has changed you.
