In a recent effort to address the New York City budget issue, the Mayor Michael Bloomberg wrongly started to attack the VSF (Variable Supplement Fund) by claiming it to be a "Holiday Bonus."

The real fact is that the VSF is not a "Holiday Bonus,"  but rather this is a benefit that was bought and paid for by the PBA in past negotians and the City has financially benefited from the fund in the tunes of billions since the creation of the fund.

Now the mayor wants to go against the agreement and the law and it is up to us to stay strong and protect what we have earned and deserve! 

Lets tell our elected officials who represent us that we won't stand for this and that the men and women in blue on subway platforms, patrol cars and housing develops deserve the best.
