Ahmed Al-Alhawati is the 3 year old son of Ghadah Nashwan and Amin Al-Hawati who are originally from Yemen. Ahmed was born in the United States and lives with his parents and three siblings. Ahmed was born with a complex heart (half a heart) with multiple severe diagnosis, the child has experienced three surgical procedures and will need additional heart surgeries in the future most likely a complete heart transplant. It is important that Ahmed remains in the United States and that he and his family are not deported to Yemen where the child would be in grave danger due to the lack of sophisticated medical care in Yemen. We ask all to sign this petition so that it may be forwarded to The United States Citizenship and immigration Services as well as federal elected officials to grant the Alhawati family permanent legal status in the United States so that three year old Ahmed has a chance of survival.
