The Stirling Street Food trucks have been visiting beautiful Jackadder Lake once a fortnight.

But they have been told they must relocate to a different park because the community-building and family-friendly event is (apparently) impacting sales for nearby businesses.

There was no consultation from the City of Stirling as to the opinions of the local residents - ie the ratepayers.

The local community deserves to have amazing, friendly events such as this on our doorstep, and Jackadder Lake is the perfect venue. These events provide a sense of community and connectedness for people in a time when often many people feel isolated. 

The City of Stirling must reconsider this decision and allow the food trucks events back at Jackadder Lake. Our community must not be denied these types of events close by just because one or two businesses make complaints.
