Honeybees are responsible for pollinating a third of the food that we eat. They are vital to our food supply and economic stability. It has recently been discovered that a type of insecticide known as neonicotinoids are the cause of mass colony die-offs. The bees die when the chemical causes nerve paralysis. It is estimated that honeybees will become extinct by 2035. These insecticides have already been limited in some European countries. Let's spread the buzz and ban neonicotinoids to save our precious honeybees!

I just signed the following petition addressed to: Ask Congress and Agricultural leaders to save the Honeybees.

----------------
Ban the use of neonicotinoids linked to their death

Honeybees are responsible for pollinating a third of the food that we eat. They are vital to our food supply and economic stability. It has been recently discovered that a particular type of insecticide causes nerve paralysis and results in mass colony die-off. It is estimated that honeybees will be extinct by 2035 unless we prohibit the insecticide responsible for their die-off. Let's ban this chemical and save our honeybees!
