Residents of Hanging Rock are sick and tired of the lack of Council intervention to fix the collapse of the main road on Barry Rd, Hanging Rock. This project as been left for over 4 years to complete. In the meantime, a 'detour' has been put in place, which is accessed by residents, employees and delivery drivers, large and small, for the past 4 plus years. The state of this detour has progressively deteriorated, and has never been maintained by council, only local residents, in an attempt to reduce corrugated and pot holes. It is an unpaved road due to it being a 'temporary' access road until the main road was repaired. Still waiting..
