Australia Post are proposing to close the Gouger Street Post Office in October 2026, with the closest alternative being in the CBD or Halifax Street, over a kilometre away.
The residents and small businesses of Adelaide City's West have been overlooked. It's not just a post office – it's a local destination that we walk to, chat to neighbours in, do everyday business and access services that make city life convenient. It's an essential part of our community.
