Save the Future: Address the Philippines' Education Crisis

According to the Southeast Asia Primary Learning Metrics 2019 (SEA-PLM) results, only 10% of Filipino students at the end of primary school met the minimum reading standard and 17% met the minimum math standard required by SDG 4.1.1—Education Proficiency (inquirer.net).

A lack of quality education is a threat to economic growth. Economic analysis has shown that on the whole, improvements in school-level education lead to improvements in economic performance, and more so than the other way around (inquirer.net).
