This week we have heard announcements from the FA In Partnership with the Premier league to scrap all replays in the FA Cup from the first round proper. This will limit the amount of chances for clubs in the lower leagues to generate revenue for their clubs, tourism for potentially smaller towns bringing larger Club fan bases back to their home stadiums and dreams for younger players coming along from grass roots. The FA Cup was the greatest competition on earth giving the entire footballing pyramid a fair chance or truelly excelling in the world's favourite sport that we are the home of. Its the oldest Football competition in the world and as such should be cared for a treated with true respect. Additionally it should still be the curtain closer on the English domestic season.Update: We have heard that the EFL were not asked about making these reforms despite representing the majority of clubs taking part.
