Thanks to a recent act of Congress, we now have an historic opportunity to restore water flow to America's Everglades.

Back in the 1920's a road called the Tamiami Trail blocked water flow to the Everglades and Florida Bay. Almost 90 years later, the road is still blocking water flow. Now Congress has asked the Obama Administration to look at elevating the road.

Please send an email to the National Park Service asking them to choose maximum bridging (Alternative 6) of Tamiami Trail to restore fresh water flow to the Everglades.

It's important that the National Park Service hears from enough people who want Tamiami Trail elevated so that water can flow naturally. A free flowing Everglades would help make America's most famous wetland more resilient to climate change.
