The Edinburgh (House of Sounds) is a highly valued music venue that has been providing live music in Weymouth for over 20 years. It has been under the current ownership for 2 years and continues to be a much loved, vibrant venue.

The pub is currently subject to a license review and is being threatened with the possibility of losing its license / closure. The review is based on a single incident caused by an ex member of staff and so we need to make it clear to the licensing committee that we are a safe, highly valued community pub that supports live music and the livelihoods of many people. It is also the landlady’s home.
