The RMHS dance program has been around for 29 years. Next year will be its 30th anniversary. It means a lot to many students and even alumni to have this program here. At this point it is part of Rio Mesa’s history and it’s not fair to remove it after so long when it is still a very active program. This impacts everyone at Rio Mesa, even if they aren’t in the dance program. We perform at rally’s events. Even allumni is still active in the program years later. Our dance teacher, choreographers, and many rio mesa teacher are still active members in our program. You can see how many people our dance program has affected.
