Bristol City Council is currently working on a new Local Plan. In the plan, Brislington will not only see massive redevelopment on brownfield sites but also the loss of much of our Greenbelt, stretching from the existing Park and Ride down to and including the former Wyevale Garden Centre.

We completely support brownfield redevelopment but believe building on our precious Greenbelt is unacceptable. Unfortunately, our calls to remove the Brislington Greenbelt from the plan to protect it against development have fallen on deaf ears. 

We are calling on the Mayor of Bristol to support the removal of the Brislington Greenbelt as development land from the Local Plan. If you live in Bristol and support this call, please sign our petition. We have already lost our precious Brislington Meadows. Let’s not lose our Brislington Greenbelt as well.
