Did you know that axolotls are represented in Minecraft and other video games and has kids loving them?!! But what is greater than a video game is real life!

Axolotls are endangered and are barely found in the wild. They were originally found in the lakes of Mexico. However, now they are endangered because of pollution and urbanization. 

The coolest thing about axolotls is that they can regenerate their body parts, connective tissue, and parts of their brains. This is important for humans because one day in the future, scientists can learn how to regenerate body parts for people who need them.

I would like to start this petition to clean up the lakes in Mexico and to protect the lakes so that the axolotls can be found in the wildlife in their natural habitats.

I believe all law makers, kids, and citizens can help make this happen so that we can save the axolotls from extinction!
