CJI Misra and the autonomy of the Supreme court is unnecessarily targeted by the Congress and Left without any substantial reasons. He is accused of favoring some particular judges in allocation of cases. CJI of India has a right and power to distribute cases as per his moral wish. But few judges who are influenced by the left ideology are opposing it. Moreover the Congress part has up its ante against CJI Misra by initiating an impeachment motion against him. The Congress party is upset against CJI because he is involved in the historical case of Ram Janmbhoomi. He has also reportedly thrashed many Congress lawyers like Kapil Sibal on many occasions. So Congress party is playing a dirty game to defame and put pressure on the CJI for the upcoming historical case. By doing so Congress and Left are playing with the constitutional autonomy of the Supreme court. Its also playing with the faith of the people.
