i do declare, no please. we need not change the old, rustic, homegrown, charming aesthetic of teviot. do not suck teviot dry of its character. shes a beauty as is. a stone icon for edinburgh students and ill be damned if she gets turned into a plainass, boring ass building.

the new design looks lame as tbh. its all modern. no offence to who designed it. but this teviot "refurbishment" looks like bird shit. it takes away all that juicy atmosphere from teviot and makes it just like white as hell. the library bar is muah chefs kiss rn but this new design, tsk, no thank you very much.

also we need study space, gosh. its already a problem as is, dont yoink even more space wtf.

also also its like a cost of living crisis innit. and the fellas and felletes and fellothers up top in suits in their big arm chairs are wanting to spend their extra cash on this shit? not epic. teviot is like cheap heaven dont take her away from me.
