Tachbrook Residents Association are deeply concerned about the current state of the estate’s playground and sports pitch. The state of disrepair has created dangerous conditions for children, especially those with disabilities.

The playground equipment is in disrepair, posing safety risks to children who use it regularly. Additionally, the sports pitch is in dire need of resurfacing and maintenance, making it inaccessible for sports activities. This neglect not only diminishes the quality of life for residents but also limits the overall well-being of Tachbrook Residents.

A well-maintained playground and sports pitch provide an inclusive space for all children to play, to develop physical skills, and foster social interactions. It also promotes a healthier and more active lifestyle for residents of all ages. By addressing these maintenance issues, we can enhance the overall sense of community and inclusion in Tachbrook Estate.

We’re calling on Peabody to prioritise the necessary repairs and maintenance of the playground and sports pitch. We request a comprehensive plan and timeline for these improvements to ensure the safety our children.
