Sutton Coldfield Library is due to close its doors to the public on the 27th June. This is a very sad loss for our town. 

Birmingham City Council has said it can no longer fund our libraries and are trying to sell off the building it is in. Sutton Coldfield Town Council have known about this closure and not stepped up to save the library despite having plenty of funding to do so. Both councils are blaming each other for this tragic loss.

We are calling on all parties to reach an agreement to safeguard Sutton Coldfield Library for the future and invest in more opening hours and improved services.
