Ever since i started junior year in high school, SRO Shank was there with a bright smile & always said good morning to each and every student as they walked in. He was the one that you went to if you felt uncomfortable about a situation or someone to just listen to you, & for some reason he always knew what to do & say. He was always around for every single person no matter the situation or outcome, it didn’t matter to him how “bad” a kid is, he was the one to always take them under his wing. Unfortunately as of recently he has been released of his duties at the schools around in bethalto, and this is something I am starting to hopefully get Officer Shank back his rightfully so job. He is one of the few to care about their students. Please help me  reach the goal to get this man his job back! These kids need someone to hear them! If we do not get him his job back, all of these kids & future kids to come will never feel that kind of comfort again.
