Sound Garden Swakopmund is currently closed down due to certain individuals’ complaints. We are at risk of being closed down for good.

1) Sound Garden is a family friendly establishment.

2) Sound Garden adheres to the cut off time of 22:00 for any live music. Strictly, always.

3) Sound Garden is not a roudy, drunken venue.

4) Sound Garden customers Do not litter/mess in the street.

5) Sound Garden customers Do not make excessive noise outside the venue.

6) Sound Garden plays live music at a level where conversations can still be had inside at tables.

7) Sound Garden as a venue is a contribution to Swakopmund as a town. Regarding tourism, decent entertainment and a place for locals and tourists to socialize and relax in a safe, fun environment.

8) Sound Garden was opened during COVID to provide people with work. It then became part of Swakopmund culture.

9) Sound Garden spends money in the community, supporting local suppliers, paying salaries to local families, creating an income for local artists and sponsoring varies athletes and charities.

10) Sound Garden is a supporter of culture and stepped up to fill a void that the town has. To provide a viable platform for artists to earn a living and showcase their talent.

11) Sound Garden Goes out of their way to bring International artists to Swakopmund regularly, often at a Financial loss, to provide a  meaningful contribution to the quality of entertainment in Swakopmund.

12) There is no other entertainment venue in town that is walkable for locals and tourists alike.

13) Sound Garden has become a part of Swakopmund’s identity.

14) It Will be a great loss to Swakopmund and Namibia to loose this venue.
