Birmingham City Council is under enormous financial pressure right now and will have to make some very difficult cuts. It has been reported that libraries across the city are under threat. 

All libraries provide an essential service to the community beyond lending books. They help people of all ages to learn, study, and develop, but particularly children and those without internet access. They can also be a space for community groups, and they often a shelter for those who need a peaceful space to rest. 

Small Heath Library is at the centre of our area and is an essential asset for our community. Small Heath Library is a safe haven for many residents across the community. 

We believe that our library should be saved.
