Save Sepulveda Boulevard

Save Sepulveda Boulevard
The Issue
Protect Our Streets. Protect Our Businesses. Protect Our Community.
Culver City residents and businesses are deeply concerned about proposed changes to Sepulveda Boulevard that threaten to harm our neighborhoods, local businesses, and everyday quality of life.
The City Council is advancing plans that would:
- Remove parking along Sepulveda
- Eliminate curb access, making it harder for people with disabilities, seniors, and families with children
- Remove critical turn lanes, increasing congestion and safety risks
- Add infrastructure changes that could worsen traffic and push vehicles into surrounding residential streets
We have already seen the impact of similar decisions in Downtown Culver City—increased congestion, reduced accessibility, and challenges for local businesses. We cannot allow the same outcome for Sepulveda Boulevard.
Why This Matters
Sepulveda is a vital corridor for:
- Local small businesses that rely on accessible parking
- Residents who depend on safe and efficient traffic flow
- Families, seniors, and individuals with mobility needs
- The overall economic and social health of our community
- These proposed changes risk making Sepulveda less accessible, less functional, and less supportive of the people who rely on it every day.
Our Message to the Culver City Council
We, the undersigned, call on the Culver City Council to:
- Pause and reconsider the current Sepulveda plans
- Preserve parking and accessibility for residents and businesses
- Maintain safe traffic flow, including necessary turn lanes
- Engage meaningfully with the community before moving forward
Take Action
- Sign this petition to Save Sepulveda Boulevard
- Share with neighbors, local businesses, and community members
- Contact Culver City Council and make your voice heard
If we don’t act now, Sepulveda Boulevard could face the same challenges seen in Downtown.
