SEA PALLING & WAXHAM PARISH COUNCIL PETITION

This petition seeks your support to challenge the decision made by North Norfolk District Council to REFUSE a certificate of lawful existing use of development of Sea Palling Boatyard, The Marrams.

There have been boats stored and indeed (before the sea wall was built), launched, along the Marrams for over a hundred years.  The fishing industry in Sea Palling is the only local fleet along the North Norfolk coast which has actually grown in recent years and it is an integral part of the village and local economy.  

This decision is being appealed to the Planning Inspectorate, but if it fails it will be the very sad end of fishing from Sea Palling.
