As of 30 June, the Royston Picture Palace has reopened thanks to public support, Royston Town Council, Royston First BID, RPP Duty Managers and volunteers and Saffron Screen.

The Royston Town Council is now looking at ways and means to keep the cinema sustainable after October 2023.
