The Issue

Dear Fellow Rotarians,

For more than a century, Rotary has been a beacon of service, friendship, and integrity. In the Philippines, we proudly carried this torch — eradicating polio, responding to disasters, building schools, and transforming lives.

But today, our greatest threat is not poverty or disaster. It is politics from within.

They challenge every fair election they lose.
They launch smear campaigns against fellow Rotarians.
They divide our clubs and districts, turning service into rivalry.
They put ego above service, ambition above unity.

This is not Rotary. This is not the legacy we swore to uphold.

We are the majority — the true Rotarians who still believe in Service Above Self, the Four-Way Test, and bayanihan. We serve to build, not to destroy. We unite to heal, not to divide.

That is why we are launching the Rotary Unity Pledge — to declare, once and for all, that politics has no place in Rotary.

By signing, you affirm that:

You will respect the results of selections unless clear fraud is proven.
You will reject smear campaigns and personal attacks.
You will put the common good before personal ambition.
You will defend Rotary’s integrity as your own.

This is our stand. This is our movement. If we want to fix our country, we must first fix our organization.

We are Rotarians. We are Filipinos. We are no longer the silent majority.

Now is the time to rise and weaken politics in Rotary. Sign the pledge. Share it across your clubs. Stand proud as a Rotarian who chooses service, not politics.

Together, we will win back Rotary Philippines.

In solidarity,

Concerned Rotarians Who Still Believe
Grassroots members from clubs across the Philippines
