We are a small group of passionate and creative Roblox developers who have been deeply affected by the recent Roblox update. This update has thrown a wrench in our plans, placing an enormous financial burden on us and other small creators like us. Our dreams to create and share innovative games with the entire Roblox community are threatened because of a system that now requires us to pay nearly $1000 just for our games to reach all users. This is simply not feasible for many of us and could lead to stifling creativity and diversity in the Roblox gaming platform.
Roblox has been an incredible platform that nurtures creativity and offers a unique opportunity for creators of all ages to develop and publish games. However, the latest update is detrimental to this very spirit. By making it financially impossible for smaller developers to distribute their games extensively, only the larger, well-funded creators will have a chance to thrive. This change not only diminishes the variety of games available but also discourages new talent from emerging.
