RNIB’s Technology for Life team supports thousands of blind and partially sighted people  across the UK every year by providing group and one-to-one training, technology help in the home and community education. They deliver support both in person and remotely.  

The team, many of whom are visually impaired themselves, also offer expert information, advice and support on a wide range of technology from smart phones to screen readers.

In 2024 with assistive technology, apps and AI developing at such speed, blind and partially sighted people need more support to get online and help to be technologically literate not less.
