Save Raidurgam: Halt the 5.25-Acre Concrete Jungle & Protect Hyderabad’s Green Belt
To: MSN Realty (MSN One), Telangana Government (TGIIC), Property Developers, Corporate Leaders, and the Citizens of Hyderabad

The Crisis: Recently, a 5.25-acre land parcel (Plot P1, Survey No. 83/1) in Raidurgam’s Knowledge City was auctioned for a record-breaking ₹264 crore per acre. While this is being celebrated as a real estate victory, it is an absolute travesty for our environment and our city’s infrastructure.

If this plot is transformed into another massive commercial high-rise, it will permanently sever a critical green lung in our city. Furthermore, there is absolutely no way HITEC City can survive the resulting "traffic spaghetti." The roads are already choked, the air quality is suffering, and the daily commute for thousands is becoming unbearable.

We are at a tipping point. We must prioritize sustainable urban planning over unmitigated concrete expansion. We are calling on all stakeholders to reverse course before the damage becomes irreversible.

Our Demands & Call to Action:
1. To MSN Realty (MSN One): Take Back the Bid We urge you to reconsider and withdraw your bid. The long-term environmental impact and the strain on civic infrastructure were likely underestimated in the rush for premium real estate. Be a corporate pioneer in environmental responsibility—step back and prioritize the city's ecological health over commercial density. Pls offer to pay TGIIC the same amount for a larger land parcel in neopolis or findi or budwel. IT employees/corporates will reward you by giving your firm a preference with these green credentials 

2. To Property Developers & The Government: Create a Green Adjunct We urge developers to advise the Telangana Government to protect this 5.25-acre space. Instead of a concrete block, this land must be converted into an adjunct to the Durgam Cheruvu green belt. Transform it into a dedicated social walking space and ecological park for the lakhs of employees who spend their days inside HITEC City's glass towers.

3. To Corporate Leaders: Open Your Eyes You are driving the demand that leads to these record-breaking, destructive auctions. We ask you to stop demanding office space in an already saturated, hyper-congested zone. Decentralize your operations and look toward the future rather than suffocating the present. Neopolis or findi or budwel are good equivalent spots

4. To HITEC City Employees: Speak Up to Your Employers You have the power to shift the demand. Inform your leadership that you are perfectly willing to work from alternative hubs like the Financial District or Neopolis. Tell them that cutting down trees and destroying the remaining green patches adjacent to your current offices just to build another tower is unacceptable.

5. To the Citizens of Hyderabad: Demand Intervention We must appeal to the government and the GHMC to intervene immediately. If this project is allowed to proceed, HITEC City will be paralyzed by gridlock. Our infrastructure cannot support this density.
