"The future of a long-established jacket potato stall in Derby could be under threat after its owner has claimed he has been told to move from his spot - despite being there for at least eight years. Ram Asra is now deeply worried about what his future holds following conversations with Derby City Council officers about his pitch on St Peter’s Street.

Mr Asra has owned the “Potato Lady” stall for almost 20 years, serving thousands of customers during his time on the busy city centre high street. But it is said the stall has served the people of Derby for around 40 years in total."
