Not even a week has passed after our 3rd public protest against the Lake Buffer Zone violations, and the MLA of the area Mr. Aravind Limbavali drops a bombshell.  He organised a meeting with Lake Activists, purportedly to collaborate with them to save lakes.  And in this meeting, we questioned him about the illegal road project violating Lake Buffer and Rajakaluve Buffer Zones of Pattandur Agrahara lake, being pursued by the Govt.  In a shocking reply, the elected representative said the illegal road should be built!!

Citizens were outraged at the callousness and irresponsibility, even arrogance of this stance!  He takes this position, despite the fact that the KTCDA has stopped the project citing lake buffer violation. This is despite the fact that citizens and activists protested in hundreds only a week before around the lake, demanding cancellation of the project! This is despite corruption investigations ongoing on the project.. This is despite the public knowledge that this is a corruption project to favour Builder Mafia...   Is there no MORALITY left in POLITICS at all?

Hence this Open Letter from citizens to the MLA questioning his ethics and value system!
