What many people dont know is that kircubbin is split in two halves theres the avenue and theres the estate and parsonage road one half uses one park and the other half use the other. The latest proposal from our wonderful councillors is we upgrade the avenue park and demolish the estate park in what way this is fair i do not know. The estate is the less desirable part of kircubbin and is perfectly understandable unfortunately we have nothing to benefit our children the one and only place for them to play is our massively outdated park. This new proposal would be truly devastating for the less fortunate half of kircubbin not to mention that the park is used daily by people coming to and from the integrated primary which is attached to the side of the park. Many of us myself included children with special needs could not make the walk to the avenue park. My proposal is why do we have to lose our park why can we not get a newly upgraded park do our children not deserve the same sort of special treatment as others or does our class really reflect what we get in life. I implore everybody who thinks our park should be saved and brought to the same standards as everybody else's please sign this petition
