Since 1910 our Civic greenhouses have greatly contributed to our pride and well being by providing high quality plants in our city. This includes flower beds, pots, the Conservatory, City Hall and Leisure centres all over Saskatoon. Currently there are over 350 species in waiting for these locations and the future conservatory. 

There has been discussion of the possible closure of these greenhouse facilities due to maintenance and costs upkeep needed for the buildings. Already funds have been diverted to purchase the 2023 bedding plants from out of Province rather than keep the funds here to secure our buildings.
