Red squirrels are vanishing – not because we don’t care, but because their habitats are still being destroyed with little oversight or consequence.
Woodlands known to support reds are being felled.
Protections exist but too often, they are ignored or unenforced.
And yet…this campaign is growing.
From a handful of signatures to over 73,000, this is now a national call for change, backed by conservationists, volunteers, and people who simply refuse to let this species disappear.
