The Earth's many ecosystems form the foundation for life on this planet, providing us with clean air, drinkable water and fertile soil. There are lots of people who are jobless and those people are more likely to live in polluted areas and have unsafe drinking water. and some of the results of destroying natural resources are global warming, water shortage, extinction of species, etc. and these impacts every living thing on the planet, which includes us. Loss of natural resources and environmental damage can threaten livelihoods, especially of the more than one billion farmers in the world, leading to food and economic insecurity as well as nutritional issues.

Ruined environment presents a large threat to all life on earth. And one of it's impacts is food shortage as the land become barren and the ocean become fishless. Loss of biodiversity as whole species of living things disappear due to deforestation. Pollution will eventually become unmanageable and affect our health. Rising temperatures may be too much for all living things on the planet.

We need to protect and sustain the planet, because it protects and sustains us. The alternative is simply unthinkable. If we end up critically damaging Earth's environment, we will leave future generations with a radically altered climate, broken ecosystems, and vanishing natural resources.
