Week after week, month after month, pets in Broward County, FL are left to suffer and die slow, horrible deaths while Broward's shelter director, Emily Wood, does NOTHING!  This photo shows a dog that was slowly starved to death WHILE the shelter visited the address regularly. Ms. Wood and her staff literally watched as this poor dog was slowly being murdered!  And this dog wasn't alone in it's suffering!  A second dog also starved to death while another limped around on 3 legs and a 4th was tied to a tree with a heavy metal chain!   Yet, Ms. Wood saw no reason to remove these dogs??  Take them away from this abusive owner and help them?!

 

There are many other examples like this one!  Ms. Wood must be terminated immediately! This is absolutely unacceptable! The director of our shelter should be protecting our pets, not allowing this torture and cruelty to go on WHILE she is watching!! 

Broward'd decision makers, Ms Monica Cepero and the Broward County Board of Commissioners, must STOP this NOW!  

FIRE Ms. Emily Wood IMMEDIATELY!
