As concerned residents and frequent  visitors to the Carrs Park in Wilmslow we, the undersigned, request an increase in the number of rubbish bins and also more frequent rubbish collection.

Currently, the insufficient number of rubbish bins in the park has led to litter both in the park itself and in the River Bollin detracting from its natural beauty and posing a threat to local wildlife.

Increasing the number of bins throughout the park, and increasing the frequency of rubbish collection, is crucial to combatting this issue. 

During warm weather and public holidays the bins are often over flowing which results in litter being left by people unable to dispose of their rubbish. By providing more bins for park users we can significantly reduce littering and promote a cleaner, safer environment for all and preserve the natural habitat for local wildlife. 

We urge Cheshire East Council to prioritise this matter and allocate resources towards the installation of additional bins in the Carrs Park, along with increased frequency of refuse collection during public holidays and warmer weather.
