Save Our Community Center Park!

The residents of Garden Grove have been enjoying this beautiful park for decades now; it is a perfect spot for a picnic with family and friends, to read a book from the nearby library under a shady tree, to watch the ducks swim and raise their ducklings; there is a reason that countless wedding and quinceañera photos have been taken here. It is a special place of peace in nature that is vital to a healthy community.  

The city must halt the destruction of the park and reevaluate the plans for a new civic center. We can make improvements to our city without this obscene overspending and destruction of our historical community spaces.

With the gap between tax revenue and expenditures narrowing each year it is imperative that we act now to stop the impending construction of this unnecessary $270 million dollar project or we will literally and figuratively be paying for this costly indulgence for the next 30 years.
