Greyhound racing was formed in 1926 and been a huge iconic event since then with  many global figures gracing the sport,I came from a family that would sit and watch the gladiators on a Saturday evening before all the family set off for a night at the dogs a truly wonderfull event for the whole family ,good food a little flutter and a chance to meet the dogs.

The dogs wasn’t just for the working class but also many legends of the world to Name a few David seaman owned his own greyhounds one I remember “Mr seamo.

the dogs love to race ,Let’s give an example horse racing a human can sit on the horse with a whip .

the horse can fall over the jumps and yet it’s a global royal sport loved by the late queen and now our king.

But Now the campaigners say our sport has to go.

you can take your dogs to the beach the park they all love to run beach’s have stones rocks shells.

This sport was graced by a good friend of mine Maurice Newman who used this legendary sport to bring out the family’s the celebrities for many of years who all contributed to the Great ormand street hospital funding .

maurice Newman raised thousand and thousands of pounds using this sport as the heartbeat along side a true legend Teddy sheringham and others.

the Welsh government need to re consider there actions and take a deeper look into how people owners trainers love care and provide for the economy and there greyhounds your actions are quite simply Wrong .
