Save Our Greenbelt Tameside

The Issue

We want to stop the building of houses on our Greenbelt land by the Greater Manchester Spatial Framework. There are enough "Brown" sites to start building accommodation on already with more sites becoming available over the next 20 years, these sites will easily house the total number of houses required without intruding on our green space. We want the power to be given back to the people to protect our green areas. The loss of our green space affects us all, future generations will lose out on open space, wildlife will be effected to the point that some species may become extinct in this area.
