Recent accusations and news reports of sexual exploitation by some RTU faculty members has negatively impacted the credibility and reputation of RTU as an institution and harsh exemplary action needed to be taken by the concern authorities starting with RTU administration, police and state government.

In addition to thorough and transparent investigation of current reported case of sexual harrasment,It is also required to initiate an investigation into the past such cases/reports, against which action is pending/not initiated.

It is imperative now to create a accountable and accessible system at RTU, which can assure the entire community  about safeguard and  protection of student rights and their dignity. Mere hollow assurances and systemic excuses will not work any more. As an alumni of this fantastic institution, We feel it's our moral duty to put all required efforts to ensure that now onwards a safe,fair, transparent, healthy, progressive and competitive environment is made available to all the fellow students where they can excel and innovate. 

On behalf of entire RTU alumini community, We hereby urge the RTU administration, Kota police and government of Rajasthan to initiate a transparent investigation and take strictest possible action against all accused including the immediate termination of accused in current case of sexual harrasment.
