I am beyond thrilled, grateful, and excited to stand here today and share some incredible news: WE DID IT! 🎉

When we first started this petition to save our beloved lemon tree here on Osborne, we knew it was special—but seeing the overwhelming wave of love, support, and community spirit that followed proved just how much this little green corner of Manly means to all of us.

After all the signatures, shared posts, passionate conversations, and community support, I am so happy to announce our official victory! The outcome couldn’t be better: both of those beautiful trees on Osborne are staying right where they belong! 🌳🍋🌳

Walking down Osborne and seeing those two vibrant, thriving trees standing proud fills my heart with absolute joy—and I know so many of you feel exact same way every time you pass by. They bring shade, fresh air, color, and a sense of home and character to our street that you just can't replace.

This victory is proof that when a community comes together to speak up for nature, incredible things happen. Every single signature, comment, and share made a real difference.

Let this be a reminder of how powerful a few roots and a strong community can be! I want to encourage each and every one of you to keep that momentum going: plant a tree in your garden, sponsor green spaces in your neighborhood, or care for the trees already around you.
