Tuscaloosa PARA has decided to remove the disc golf course at the Ol' Colony Golf Complex in lieu of a new Family Golf Entertainment Space. This decision was not made with any input from the Tuscaloosa Disc Golf Club (TDGC) or disc golf community as a whole.

The TDGC is creating this petition to show to PARA the impact that this decision has on the community of disc golf in the West and Central Alabama regions. There are hundreds of players monthly who use this course to enjoy a recreational activity, participate in PDGA sanctioned league and tournament events, and to build community. 

We have a meeting with PARA to discuss this decision on Wednesday, September 3rd. We would love to bring this petition to the organization to show how negatively impactful their decision is.
