NatWest plan to close their branch in Ellesmere Port in June 2025.

This is a ludicrous decision.

The branch is always busy with customers, and the branch staff are amazing.

It is the last major bank in the town.

It has onsite FREE customer parking.

NatWest have already closed 4 branches in the local area in the last couple of years - Frodsham, Flint, Shotton and Port Sunlight.

The nearest remaining branches are Birkenhead or Chester.

Neither is easy to get to and the only parking nearby is expensive.

Lots of local people and businesses rely on this branch. If it closes, access to cash for them will be further restricted.

Finally for NatWest's own benefit - a branch in Ellesmere Port has to be much cheaper to run than one in Chester!
